Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health Star Rating

Senate Bill 482

In 2017, the Nevada Assembly and Senate passed amendments to SB 482 requiring facilities to post the “star rating” assigned on the hospital’s website. These amendments were signed into law by Governor Brian Sandoval on June 13, 2017. In compliance with the law and community transparency in mind, Seven Hills Hospital has received “4” Star Rating related to staffing.

The Star Rating is based on compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes 449.241 to 449.2428. These statutes discuss state staffing requirements. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health routinely monitors facilities for their compliance with these standards.
