Nurse practitioners, internists, a dietitian, mental health technicians, recreational therapists and marriage and family therapists round out our multidisciplinary staff, whose commitment lies in restoring the mental, spiritual and physical health of our patients.

Your privacy and comfort during treatment are important to us. Our newly opened 58-bed facility in the beautiful Seven Hills area contains a private wing for psychiatric patients, with dual occupancy rooms. Patients dine on gourmet food, prepared by our dedicated chef, in the Seven Hills Cafe, and participate in a variety of daily therapies and activities, including:

Individual Psychotherapy – This one-on-one time between patient and doctor is important for mental and emotional healing. In these sessions, patients are guided to communicate openly with the therapist about their feelings and relationships, examining the complexity of their illnesses.

Support Groups – Through the peer interaction of group therapy, patients can verbally process their fears and achievements in treatment with the support of their peers. Support groups are often organized by common illnesses or traumas and enhance communication and social interaction skills. Group therapy is very instrumental in the therapeutic purpose of healing.

Didactic Groups – Patients, as well as families of patients, often benefit from these classes. Didactic groups are focused on communicating skills and information to patients that can help them in their healing process. Didactic groups at Seven Hills include:

Medication Stabilization – It’s important for each of our psychiatric patients to leave Seven Hills with confidence that their medication is appropriate to their illness and is working effectively. During your stay at Seven Hills, your medication may be eliminated or changed, based on the orders of your staff psychiatrist. Our medical team is here to assist you with any discomfort or unexpected side effects changes in medication may cause.

Grief Counseling – Patients who have experienced loss may participate in grief counseling. As we seek to maintain a holistic approach to treatment, it’s vital to begin healing the wounds created when a loved one passes away.

Recreational Therapy – Seven Hills offers its patients a variety of recreational therapies including exercise on site and in an exclusive local fitness center, as well as on site canine therapy. Meditation classes are also available to our patients and can help achieve a spiritual connection and peace of mind.

Nutritional Care – Our dietitian advises patients on their dietary needs and how their eating habits may contribute to their overall health. During their stay, all patients are privy to the nutritious and delicious meals served in the Seven Hills Cafe.
